Do homeschool co-ops count as classrooms? We have a homeschool co-op with six kids, and we rotate which mom hosts each week. (so the other moms have a break the other weeks) It would be super fun to have some fun things to take from house to house, to make the class more consistent and to make our living rooms/dining rooms feel more like an actual classroom :D

Nikki, thank you so VERY much for doing such a kind and thoughtful deed. I just absolutely adore you and the adorable graphics that you make! I teach 3rd grade at a Christian school and so everything I buy comes out of my own pocket. Last year I completely redid my entire classroom using your graphics on everything including my classroom decor, parent communication, and interactive notebooks. I spent hours upon hours finding Melonheadz kids that looked like each of my students. Guess what? This year that was the first thing my students said to me, "Are you going to make kids that look like us?" It would be such a blessing to have more of your graphics for my class this year. Even if I don't win, I will still continue to buy your adorable graphics. Thank you so much for all that you do. Blessings, Karla Linick.

HI Nikki! I have 22 third graders in a low income, urban school. They would love to see your graphics appear on their school work. Many of these students thrive in school because I provide them a safe, and exciting learning environment. I would love to be one of your classrooms this year.
Sincerely,
Emily

I would love to win a classroom adoption! I am a first year public school teacher (though I have been teaching pre-k prior to this year and loving your clipart!), and I work at a school that serves a very low income population. These kids don't get to win at very much in their lives and this would rock their worlds (not to mention mine!). I will continue to love and buy your art. Thank you so much!

I love your work. Thank you for sharing your talents. I am teaching a 3rd/4th split this year. I would love to have a special treat for my students this year as we workout how to manage two different grades in our class this year. THanks!!

Good evening, Nikki! Like so many other teacher’s classrooms, there are many wonderful things that make my class special and worthy of this amazing gift from you. My school is Title I, 100% free lunch, and high poverty. Many of my families, myself included, are living paycheck to paycheck. My home away from home consists of 21 wonderful, 2nd grade dual language learners. They work extra hard in not only one, but two languages to become both bilingual and bi-literate. Being that we need resources in Spanish, many times, I have to create them myself for my kiddos. In my honest opinion, many of the bilingual resources that are out there, aren’t made with high quality clipart images. As a teacher who utilizes resources in both languages, I really notice that a lot of the Spanish ones don’t compare in the ‘cuteness’ factor as many English ones. Although I know that what really matters is the content, I do strongly feel that my students’ native language is just as important. I believe they should be able to have bright/happy anchor charts, posters, and other academic materials so I create them for them with your beautiful little kidlettes and your other Melonheadz graphics. For as long as your kidlettes light up my kiddo's faces and help make my classroom a happy/inviting place, I will continue to purchase and utilize your clipart. I’ve created little Melonheadz addicts since my first year teaching, 4 years ago, and will continue to do so! Thank you for this amazing opportunity! Blessings and good luck to all the other deserving teachers!

Hi! I'm teaching in Veracruz, Mexico and I will love to have your graphics in my classroom, with our limited resources we don't have anything like it, and it will be great to motivate our kids to practice more English.

Howdy!

I'm new to third grade this year, and it is only my third year of teaching. I have three third grade classes this year with 22 kiddos in each class (I only teach math). I have always admired your work and have several things in my classroom with it! I could use them for stations, parent notes, math activities, etc. What makes my classes so special is that our school is a new up and coming Leader In Me school. I teach at a leadership charter academy in Texas with diverse students. Our school is only in its 4th year, so it is still fairly new. That being said, we have limited resources due to lack of funding. Our school is a Title 1 school with free admission. I often make my own math stations and activities. I know your clip art will help make everything look so nice! I would love the opportunity to share your work with these students. Fingers crossed!

Choose my class because we're simply awesome!

Well, there's more to us than our awesomeness. We're the only classroom in our school, heck...maybe even the district, implementing flexible seating. We have eyes on us from all over the district, which is amazing, but scary at the same time. It would be fabulous to get these kiddos some recognition and a little bit of a reward for being such great sports and really bringing their A-game when it really matters. Plus, our daily learning targets are adorned with Melonheadz. Basically, we just love your products!

Woah! I'm so excited! We are an energetic and happy group of 14 students (smallest class in my 13 years of teaching kindergarten) in a kindergarten inclusion class! (Although, that number can change frequently....lol) I have just started creating my own family homework calendars (with fun clipart of course) and positive postcards (again, fun clipart makes them even better!!). Melonheadz clipart is my favorite and is taking over my classroom (binders, line up spots, posters, word wall, etc.! Thanks again for this opportunity!

Hi Nikki, I teach first grade in a high poverty charter school in Racine, Wisconsin. Many of the kids in my school come from almost nothing, and they feel that they are not important or special. I work very hard all year showing them that they are smart and capable and precious to me! Having you adopt my class would be a wonderful way to help them feel special...especially if they thought one of the cute characters you draw look a little like them! :) Please choose my class so that together we can make these kids feel like a million bucks!

Thank you!

Hi Nikki,
I'm a HUGE fan!!! I'm returning to the classroom this year after working in a District Office for 3 years. I recently held a district wide event for over 1,000 teachers (Amy from TpT came and presented...Yay Amy!!) and I created signs that hung everywhere containing your clipart!
It's difficult to say why my class should be chosen over others...can we ALL win?! Lol! But seriously, I would love to introduce my kinders to Melonheadz, not just for the gifts, but because of your artistic talent. Thank you for all you do!!

Welcome to algebra - open palm, place on forehead. A most common reaction from my non-mathematical nuggets. Need to put some fun in functions, more grins in graphing. Simply put! MELONHEADZ BRING SMILES! Would truly enjoy the opportunity to add a bit of whimsical, cuteness to our everyday lessons, assessments, bulletin boards and math hallways. Bring on the phenomenal Melonheadz!!!!

Hi Nikki! I'm a Kindergarten Special Education Teacher. I directly work with 12 students (so far) in my classroom as well as the remaining 72 Kindergartners within their classrooms (small and whole group lessons). My students would certainly love to receive a surprise from you (as of course, would I - blessed). My students are so deserving because while many of them are faced with learning, physical, or social difficulties they work so hard EVERY day!

Thanks so much for the opportunity! :o)

Why should my class win???? Because they are the MelonHeadz! A room full or the most diverse, crazy, brilliant kids ever! I teach a group of special needs kids in Chiang Mai,
Thailand. At the moment there are only 8 of us (because I have had medical issues recently) but I got up to 25 full time kids (on my own) last year. This term I have 8 kids 4 Asperger's/ Gifted, one DD, one gifted, and a highly cheeky preschooler! They are 4-12 years old and from 4 different countries. Most of them had been beaten (Yep it's legal here) in regular school. I call them my "melonheadz" because their brains are so full of the most amazing things, and like your Mealonheads each one is their own unique character! They are Rockstars and amaze me every day! I am truly blessed!

I absolutely LOVE your graphics. I am teaching in a very low-income school 90-95% free lunch. I teach a great group of 2nd graders who are more than eager to learn. They want to do better than the situations they are born into and be bigger! I would love the opportunity to use more of your clipart in my creations for my wonderful students. Thank you for the opportunity to enter!

Hi Nikki! Thank you so much for your generous offer! I teach at a title one campus; I have 17 students in my classroom at this time. My budding authors and illustrators would be amazed and blessed by your generosity. I can just picture the details your Melonheadz will inspire my students to add to their work. Thanks again!

I am the second grade teacher to 21 amazing kids. We are on the outskirts of St. Louis. Each day, they work so hard & I'm so proud of who they are and what they will be. They love your Clipart as it decorates most of the work we do. Thank you for the opportunity!!

Wow, what a fabulous opportunity! I would love to win and use your products in our classroom newsletters, anchor charts and presentations as well as many of the other ways teachers have mentioned. We are a class of fifteen awesome kindergarten students from northern Wisconsin. We are also a very high poverty district with a population of Native American students. Thanks for giving us all the chance to be adopted this year!

Hi Nikki! :) I am a teacher at a school in the Philippines, and my colleagues and I are huge huge fans of your work! We absolutely love the Melonheadz graphics; our top pick for classroom posters and the like are those that feature your work.

I teach second grade to 14 adorable rambunctious kids who represent so many different nationalities (which make your work so useful in my classroom -- I can pick graphics that represent my kids), making for a class rich in perspective and ideas. I would love for our class to be chosen, as I believe your graphics will be a great addition to our classroom.

Regardless of outcome, I do want to say that you do such amazing work, and I am a big fan! :) More power to you!!

I teach Transitional Kindergarten at a brand new school in Northern California. My students are enthusiastic, energetic, eager 4 and 5 year olds full of wiggles and giggles! As a TK-5th grade new school, with a focus on STEM, we are establishing our culture, community, and connections with families. MelonHeadz would be a GREAT addition to our weekly communication newsletters and websites :) Please consider us and THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful artwork!!

I teach 5th grade in a very high poverty school. I would love for our classroom to be adopted to show my kids that other people care and are rooting for them. I know that I could create so many resources for them using the graphics as well! This would mean so much to us!

I would LOVE to have you 'adopt' my class! We are in a high-poverty school in a military community. We have pretty needy kiddos. I like to create differentiated activities for them and I would LOVE to include your awesome art!

Thanks for considering us!

What a wonderful opportunity you have going here. I am a kinder teacher to 22 lovely kiddos in Texas. I use your graphics in everything in my classroom. They are so simple that I use these to teach my kiddos how easy it is to draw them. It's always interesting to see what they come up with. I would love to win graphics to keep my kids entertained and engaged in the classroom.

I love MELONHEADZ! My Kindergarten class of 20 loves color in your drawings! I would love to have more of your clip art to make things for my students and enhance the appearance of letters I send home. My class should be chosen because we are awesome, and we would put your art to good use! Our class is special because we work hard and we help each other achieve great things!

I would love to be a lucky winner because my students and low income school absolutely love your work and the products I share! I love sharing ideas with all, those new and veteran teachers.

Much Appreciation and Respectfully,

Hi Nikki!! I would LOVE to be adopted by you this year! My class is full of 21 diverse first graders who live on the island of Maui. And while it is beautiful and gorgeous here, our little ones don't have many experiences of the world. Everything they know is on this 730 square mile island! Having a connection to another state would be so fun for them! We are an arts-Integration school and my students love your drawings - they are all over my classroom! Some students even try to make their drawings look like kidlettes. :) So please, when you make your decision, please think of us. We would be so appreciative.

Hi Nikki! I'm a second grade teacher. I teach english as a second language in a catholic school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have 37 extraordinary and funny children. It will be quite difficult to say goodbye to this special group because we've shared two amazing years together. They are fans of your art as much as I am!!!! They even love my tests thanks to your drawings. Even though with the exchange currency sometimes buying illustrations is quite expensive for me but they are well worth it. I consider them a treat for me and my class. Keep up with the beautiful work!!! Big kisses from Argentina Mercedes
